How long have you been using CareerPlug?

We have been using the services from CareerPlug for about 3 years.

How has your hiring process changed since you began using CareerPlug?

We decided to partner with CareerPlug to allow us recruiters more time to be out of the office at college events and still be prospecting candidates on Monster and Careerbuilder. With our partnership with CareerPlug, we have been able to utilize our college referral sources to a greater extend, resulting in a stronger brand on campuses.

What’s your favorite part about what you do?

My favorite part of recruiting is networking!

What’s the best moment you’ve had during the hiring process?

My favorite moment occurred at a career fair. I had a candidate hug me before she left my booth!

What is the most difficult part of hiring new talent?

The most challenging part of hiring new talent is battling the competition in the market. Once candidates are in our interview process and receive an offer, we have a high acceptance ratio. The challenging part is getting them to submit an application and express the initial interest.

What do you do outside of work that makes you awesome?

Outside of work, I love to take care of my family. We are very active with sports and love to be outside! We have family basketball games, take bike rides, and try to make the most of the time we do have together.

What do you value most in your workplace?

Enterprise is an amazing company to work for. One of our 8 founding values is, “Enterprise is a fun and friendly place to work where teamwork rules.” I don’t think I could work for a company if I couldn’t have fun and laugh.

What is the best piece of advice anyone ever gave you?

The best piece of advice pertained to asking questions to your supervisor. I was encouraged as a young professional to go into a meeting with a supervisor with not only a question, but a potential, well thought out solution.
