Software Advice, the Austin-based resource for software buyers, recently released their analysis of HR Software Considerations for 2014. You can view a brief slideshow of their findings below:
CareerPlug is built around the platform of “making hiring easier” – meaning we believe in making the hiring process as easy to understand, intuitive, and effective as possible. As the report says, stand-alone Applicant Tracking Systems are the most sought strategic HR applications as well as the most widely offered.
As many businesses make strides to use technology efficiently in all of their processes, they are looking for HR applications that offer solutions in addition to Applicant Tracking. For example, our main draw for our clients – many small to medium sized companies – is our ability to quickly post jobs to top job boards and easily see applicants through the hiring process. But as owners and managers become comfortable with this aspect of our system, they begin using customizable features to brand their hiring process and assessments and prescreen questions to help find the best applicants. Our performance reviews and self-evaluations become integrated into the weekly workplace rhythm, helping retain and develop employees long after their initial hire.
Software Advice found that company growth was the main reason companies purchased new software in addition to their current ATS. Their need for expanded functionality grew with them. It makes sense – why have the hiring process separated from onboarding when you’ll need similar information? As we grow with our clients, we’re working to improve and innovate our service to meet and exceed client needs.
